Immigration Resources

• Michigan Immigrant Rights Center has videos in Spanish and English about immigrant access to health care and unemployment insurance for noncitizens (including DACA).

• The Mutual Aid Resources google drive folder has information specific to immigration, including translated English/Spanish document on the public charge and COVID-19.

• On March 13, USCIS announced that testing, prevention, or treatment for COVID-19 would NOT be used against immigrants in a public charge test. Immigrant families should seek the care they need during this difficult time and maintain records of any treatment received for coronavirus.

• As of March 18, USCIS has suspended all routine face-to-face services with applicants to slow the spread of coronavirus until at least April 1.
